Member Ohio House of Representatives, 1993-1999, member of Finance and Education committees who worked tirelessly researching the Charter School movement nationally, developed the language and pushed for passage of the legislation that brought charter schools to Ohio; Sally’s legislative office was the statewide “resource center” for charter school information. She later founded Ohio's first independent charter school resource center.
